Came here for a quick bite after loads of walking with two small children. The staff were all lovely and accommodating. Food came out quick and the beer cold and delicious after being hard earned! The steak Pica Pau was one of the best dishes we had on holiday. Really great spot to refueld before another Sintra palace!

Amazing spot we stumbled upon to grab some food and happy hour drinks! Raul, Our server and bartender was the best. Made us some really tasty unique cocktails and helped me celebrate my birthday. They also have the best vegetarian seitan sandwich we’ve had in Europe.

Adorable and cozy spot in Sintra. The service was excellent, the shrimp were the best we have had in Portugal, and as a pescatarian who eats mostly plant based, I really enjoyed the seitan and onion sandwich!

Brilliant small place just past tourist trap area in Sintra. Had a brilliant homemade IPA by the cousin of our server that was easily the best beer I had in Portugal and Germany this trip. Try the fried cuttlefish!

We had a delicious meal of sardines on toast, a smoked pork sandwich, fried potatoes with spicy garlic aioli, tossed greens, and a cod fish birds nest type dish that I could have went back for extra helpings of despite being completely full from the generous portions. Be sure to have with a beer and refreshing vino verde for a more local experience. Prices were very reasonable for the area and our server was very attentive They did not push add ons or just bring dishes they intend to charge for either which was nice. Great food and great services. The tapas are small which will allow you to try many different things. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. Ask them anything about the menu and they will be a big help.

We stopped here for lunch while touring Sintra. It is exactly what we were looking for. Amazing atmosphere. Their own IPA, and it was excellent. We had the marinated olives (yummy). I had the steak sandwich, which was amazing with the garlic butter. So good. My husband had the pork loin sandwich, which he really enjoyed. Totally recommend.

We had dinner here during a blackout and the staff were amazing! Even though the card machines were down, they let us pay by bank transfer since we didn’t have cash. They stayed so calm and friendly the whole time — honestly made the night feel special. Would 100% come back!

Very good food and service, with several vegetarian options (cheese plate, salad, seitan sandwich). The food was good, service prompt, and menus in several languages. It’s mostly outdoor seating though they had small blankets/throws available (and overhead heaters presumably for very cold days). We ate here when walking from the Moorish castle to Sintra National Palace and it was the perfect stop.
